CGC Submissions – Now open at Coffee & Heroes!!

We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer CGC submission services at Coffee & Heroes.  You can drop your raw books into us, and we’ll take care of the rest!

CGC Grading is more popular than it’s ever been, with both collectors and investors seeing it as the best way to safeguard their comics in the long term.  Here are some of the reasons to use CGC services.​

• The comic will be protected against any further wear and tear, and the grade it is assigned, is the grade it will stay unless the casing is tampered with.
• CGC cases will display your comic in a neat casing, perfect for display.
• It is possible that grading will significantly improve the value of your comic.
• CGC is a worldwide recognised standard of quality, and will improve any chances of reselling in the future.
• Grading is becoming more and more popular amongst collectors worldwide.

COMIC GRADING SERVICES AT COFFEE & HEROES

• MODERN (1975 – Present) – £42 per title (up to £150 value)

• VALUE (Printed prior to 1975) – £50 per title (up to £150 value)

• STANDARD (any era) – £88 per title (up to £750 value)

• EXPRESS (any era) – £130 per title (up to £3500 value)

All prices include handling fees and return postage to the store for collection.

We have worked exceptionally hard to keep the pricing as low as possible.  We will always send off comics in batches of 25, in a bid to keep the shipping costs as low as possible, and therefore pass that saving onto the customer.

Please note that we cannot guarantee any grades in advance, nor are we responsible for the grading process itself.  We can always offer advice and speculate on the condition of individual items, but this is personal opinion and is not necessarily shared by CGC graders.

When dropping titles to us, we would ask that 50% of the fees are paid up front, and the reminder paid when the CGC comics have been returned to us and are picked up.
